Help me raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's disease research!

How has your life changed in the past year? However, some things are still the same. Almost five years ago, I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD), and I joined over 1 million people in the US who have Parkinson's. Raising awarenes (and funds!) for research is my chance to help.

I also joined the PD Avengers (https://www.pdavengers.com/), a global alliance of people with Parkinson's, our partners and friends, standing together to demand change in how the disease is seen and treated. Our mandate is to use the value of our combined efforts, influence and skills to vocally advocate to prove Parkinson’s matters and to build a sense of real urgency to end this disease. Our goal is to join one million voices by 2022. Will you join us, too?

Although we can't be in Central Park this year, Sabela and the Hotsteppers are back to raise funds. By joining together with thousands of others, we'll be empowering those who are living with the disease, like me, and honoring those who lived with Parkinson's.

Why I'm supporting the Parkinson's Unity Walk: 100% of donations go to research. The Parkinson's Unity Walk is the largest grassroots event in the U.S., raising funds and awareness for research.
