This is Team James Lee 8th year participating in the Parkinson’s Unity Walk -- I (David Lee) formed “Team James Lee” in 2012 (our 2012 team photo inset) in honor of my father who passed away in March 2012 after a long fight with Parkinson’s disease. Team James Lee was formed to bring awareness and raise funds to find the cause and a cure to Parkinson’s. The disease also afflicted Patricia’s (David's wife) paternal grandfather, Tsu-Hung Sieh, who passed away in November 2004. Parkinson disease has brought suffering to both the Sieh and Lee family patriarchs but we hope this will not be the case for future generations of our family. More than one million people in the U.S. are living with Parkinson’s disease. The cause is unknown and while treatment options help to manage symptoms, currently there is no cure. Every walker and donor will bring the Parkinson's community one step closer to finding the cause of and cure for Parkinson’s disease. Please join our team and/or make a donation. 100% of donations go to research. To make an online donation please click on the Team Member that you wish to support.
