Unity Walk for Parkinson's Disease Research-2019 Montana Don's Team
The Parkinson's Unity Walk will take place this year on April 27 at the band stand shell in Central Park. Montana Don's Team will walk again this year to raise awareness of this effort for research for a cure for Parkinson's Disease and to support the fundraising efforts of the Unity Walk which last year raised over $1.5 million. Montana Don's Team raised $6,200.
Montana Don's Team was formed to honor Marylin Leslie's brother, Don Rakow, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2007.
Marylin Leslie, also was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
My name is Wilma Purdy and it is my pleasure to represent my friends Marylin and Don this year to support them both and to continue their efforts with Parkinson's Disease research.
Thank you so much,
