2020 Parkinson's Unity Walk

Team Chopra-Patel

Dearest friends,

This year, we walk and raise funds in honor of Vipin Patel (4/22/39 - 02/05/20).  We are deeply saddened by the loss of Vipin Bhai M. Patel, who was a lifelong friend, partner and brother of Team Chopra.  Vipin Bhai did not have Parkinson's disease, but he loved and supported his dear friend-partner-brother, Raj K. Chopra who lives with Parkinson's.  We celebrate and honor Vipin Bhai's love of life, his energy and joy, his spirit of helping those in need.

Join/support our team’s efforts!

Our team is participating in the Parkinson’s Unity Walk in New York's Central Park, to help raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease research.

We formed this team several years ago because more than one million people in the U.S. and many many more worldwide are living with Parkinson’s disease. The cause is unknown, and while treatments help to manage symptoms, currently there is no cure. Every walker and donor will bring the Parkinson's community one step closer to finding the cause of and cure for Parkinson’s disease.

As you may know, our father/grandfather and our cousin have been living with Parkinson's disease for several years.  Seeing up close and personal the way this disease impacts nearly every aspect of daily life, we feel even more compelled to do what we can to support research efforts.

Living with Parkinson's disease is no walk in the park.  Please consider joining our team and walking with us on April 25th!  Or if you cannot join us, consider making a donation. 100% of donations go to research.  Thank you.

With warm gratitude,
Team Chopra
